Marble Machine

What it is

Ramps, a funnel, a seesaw, a spinner, a bumper, a trampoline. Lay them out, drop the marble, watch what happens. The score is the story of the run, not the time, so the boring straight line never wins. That rule turned a physics toy into a game.

How it works

Drag pieces onto the table, twist the knob to angle them, hit DROP. Five levels with targets, four marble materials that bounce differently, undo for when you regret something.

• Real 2D physics in centimeters, a 2 cm marble, gravity at 981
• Glass, steel, rubber and wood bounce measurably differently
• The bell is worth 500 and nothing counts unless it rings
