Brew a beer, pour it, find out what you made.

What it is

A brewing simulator I built. Pick a style, build the grain bill, hop it, ferment it, pour it. Then find out if you actually made a pilsner. Every number on the chalkboard comes from the recipe, and the style you aimed at is what you get judged against.

How it works

Five stages: Style, Grain, Hops, Yeast, Pour. Two ways in, pick a style and chase its range, or go freestyle and see what you end up with. The glass fills as you go. Batches you save go in a cellar, which keeps between visits when the game has its own tab, so use Full screen if you want to come back to one.

  • 19 styles in five families, each judged against its own range
  • Five glasses, shaker to tulip, each measured so the pour and the head land where they should
  • A Kolsch pours in a stange even when the coarse model calls it a pale ale
